About Sigvera
A handwritten signature is easy to copy and impossible to revoke. Once someone has an image of yours, they can put it on any document, and proving that you never signed can take years. Sigvera exists to change that balance.
How it works
1. Generate
Before you sign, Sigvera gives you a unique, cryptographically random eight-character ink code that is valid once.
2. Write and sign
You write the code next to your signature, then photograph or scan the signed page and upload it. The code is now tied to that document and that moment.
3. Verify
Anyone holding the document can enter the code at sigvera.com/verify and see whether it is genuine and which document it belongs to. A copied signature without a valid code proves nothing.
What we believe
- Evidence beats assertion. Every code, upload and verification is recorded with its time, and Pro subscribers can export that record as a certificate or audit trail when a dispute arises.
- Your documents are yours. We store them only to verify them, we never show them to verifiers, and you can delete them, or your whole account, whenever you choose.
- Simple enough to use every time. Protection only works if it is used on every signature, so generating a code takes seconds and costs nothing on the Basic plan.
