Ink codes
What is an ink code?
An eight-character code, such as AB3K-9QZT, that Sigvera generates for you just before you sign. You write it next to your signature. Because it is unique and single-use, it ties your signature to that one document; a copied signature carries no valid code.
How do I protect a document?
Sign in, choose Generate, write the code beside your signature, then choose Upload and add a clear photo or scan of the signed page. The code is marked as used and linked to that document. Upload promptly: a code that is not used expires.
How long is a code valid?
A generated code stays valid for a limited time so it cannot be stockpiled. The exact expiry is shown next to the code when you generate it. If it expires unused, simply generate a new one.
Can I reuse a code?
No. Each code registers exactly one document. Using a fresh code for every signature is what makes the system trustworthy.
Verification
How does someone verify my document?
They go to sigvera.com/verify, enter the code from the document and see whether it is genuine, when it was generated and used, and a short description of the registered document. They never see the document image or your contact details. No account is needed to verify.
What does "not found" mean?
The code was never issued by Sigvera, has been mistyped, or belongs to an account that has been deleted. Check the characters carefully; the alphabet avoids look-alike letters, so 0 and O, or 1 and I, are never both used.
Can I see who verified my document?
Your document page lists every verification with its time and result. Pro subscribers can export the full audit trail.
Plans and billing
What does Basic include?
Basic is free and includes a monthly allowance of ink codes plus public verification. When you need more codes in a month, you can buy credits at a fixed price per code; credits do not expire.
What does Pro add?
Unlimited ink codes, legal defense features (verification certificates and audit-trail exports) and priority support, for a flat monthly price. See Pricing.
How do I cancel or change my payment method?
Open Subscription and choose Manage Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep Pro until then.
What happens if a payment fails?
We email you and retry the charge. If it stays unpaid after the reminders, Pro features pause and the account returns to Basic until the payment method is updated.
Your account
I didn't get the confirmation email.
Check your spam folder for a message from support@sigvera.com, then use Resend in Settings. If it still does not arrive, contact us and we will check the delivery log.
How do I delete my account?
In Settings, scroll to Delete Account, confirm your password and tick the confirmation. Everything is erased immediately: codes, documents, requests and any subscription. Codes written on documents can then no longer be verified, so download any certificates you need first.
Is there a mobile app?
iOS and Android apps are in limited early access. Email support@sigvera.com to ask for access.
