Deleting your account

You can delete your Sigvera account yourself, at any time, from the website or the mobile app. It takes effect immediately.

In short

  • Deletion is self-service and immediate; no request or waiting period is needed.
  • Everything in the account is erased: ink codes, documents and their stored files, legal defense requests, sessions and any subscription.
  • It cannot be undone, and codes already written on documents can no longer be verified.

On the website

  1. Sign in and open Settings.
  2. Scroll to Delete Account.
  3. Enter your password, tick the confirmation box and choose Delete my account.

In the mobile app

  1. Open Settings from the dashboard.
  2. Choose Delete account.
  3. Enter your password, confirm that you understand, and choose Delete my account.

What is deleted

  • All ink codes, used or unused.
  • All protected documents, including the stored images and thumbnails.
  • All legal defense requests and their messages.
  • Any Pro subscription, cancelled immediately without a refund for the remaining period, and any unused credits.
  • Your sessions on every device, and your billing customer record with our payment provider.

Your name, email address and password are replaced by an anonymous placeholder so that our audit records stay consistent; that placeholder cannot be linked back to you. Invoices are retained as long as tax and accounting law requires. Backups that still contain the data are overwritten on their normal cycle, within 14 days.

Before you delete

Download any verification certificates or audit trails you may need later: once the account is gone, the codes on your documents can no longer be verified and no new certificates can be produced.

If you cannot sign in

Use Forgot password to regain access first. If that is not possible, email support@sigvera.com from the address on the account and we will verify your identity and delete it for you within 30 days.
